Beacon Gives Back

At Beacon North, giving back is a core value. We firmly believe that every individual deserves the chance to thrive and reach their full potential. Our founder, Stephanie Mitton, is an unwavering advocate and has always championed the underdog. Throughout her life and career, she's passionately fought against injustice, believing it's not merely something to be observed but actively acted upon. From her humble rural beginnings to engaging on the national stage, she never forgets those who mentored and supported her along her journey, even when she knew just one person in her chosen field. This is why we give back—to provide opportunities and empower others to realize their potential.

Empowering Women

"WOMENdontDOthat," a podcast co-founded and hosted by our Principal and Founder Stephanie Mitton, and sponsored by Beacon North Strategies, was born from her own experiences with sexism during a political campaign and a subsequent unfulfilled nomination attempt. Stephanie, a proactive and solution-oriented individual, initiated this podcast as a platform to challenge and dismantle barriers faced by women – whether self-imposed or societal. The podcast aims to inspire women to realize their full potential, emphasizing that this journey is deeply personal and unique to each individual. You can find the podcast wherever you listen to podcasts.

Empowering
Children & Youth

Beacon North Strategies is proud to sponsor the Young Canadians’ Parliament (YCP), a vibrant movement empowering young people under 18 to advocate for issues they are passionate about at the highest levels of government. Launched in 2020, the YCP program plays a crucial role in educating young Canadians about our democratic system and teaching them how to effectively advocate for themselves and their communities. This initiative not only gives a voice to the concerns of the younger generation but also fosters leadership skills, shaping them into the leaders of both today and tomorrow.
